We have been using GGT Solutions since June 2011, to provide workshops for Lewisham Council employees facing redundancy. As well as attending the briefing sessions that HR run for those being made redundant. GGT have also been running workshops on Creating a winning ‘CV Job Search’ and ‘Interview Skills’ for the past 5 years. These workshops have been unanimously well received by over 600 employees to date, with training evaluation reports indicating that attendees think these training courses are excellent, no matter who the GGT trainer.
GGT Solutions have also been providing 1 to 1 outplacement sessions for senior managers at Lewisham, and again we have received excellent feedback from these sessions, which are run by one of GGT’s Directors, at their own training suites; senior managers appreciate having the time and confidentially to avail themselves of these sessions away from the workplace.
GGT have been very flexible in allowing Lewisham employees to attend sessions at their own offices when there haven’t been any group sessions running at Lewisham.
GGT have also been very supportive when Lewisham Council has run employment job fairs for residents and we have also been able to commission ad hoc training sessions with them, for example, GGT’s Walk Like a Manager workshops have been very popular with apprentices, when the expectations of the ‘world of work’ have been outlined in a fun, participative way. Lewisham’s Black and Multicultural Forum have also commissioned training with GGT for other courses.

Family Mosaic has used the services of GGT Solutions for over five years and consider them to be a trusted partner. In 2012, Family Mosaic set a manifesto pledge to support 1000 tenants into meaningful employment within three years. This required us to rebuild the service so that large numbers of people could be supported at any one time without creating a waiting list bottleneck. Having used GGT to run a range of employ-ability workshops in the past we took advantage of their free training offer to run fortnightly employ-ability workshops, tailored to the specific needs of our tenants. This allowed job coaches to concentrate on maximising employment outcomes. Alongside these services we commissioned GGT to run bespoke motivational workshops and to support us in creating an in-house job brokerage service.

I am currently the Area Manager for Central and Community Services and I have recently designed a new course for budding entrepreneurs who have experienced homelessness. As part of this course, I aimed to provide all the students attending, with industry experts who will inspire them. Evolve Housing+ Support, works with over 700 vulnerable people each year across six London boroughs. Each of our customers come to us having experienced homelessness and multiple traumas.
I first met both Georgina and Lennox several months ago and was immediately drawn to their warmth and professionalism. Both have been two of the most inspirational speakers I have ever met. They are incredibly professional in their roles and this is demonstrated through the knowledge and skills they bring with them. Additionally, they both have an exuberant personality, which you cannot help but be drawn to. All the students on the course have been inspired by their presentations and who they are as people.
We see our relationship with both as key to helping to deliver our strategic plan.
